Russian Visa for Independant Travellers and Business People

If you would like to travel to Russia individually and independantly, we can provide you with an invitation letter to obtain a Russian visa at your nearest Consulate. Note that simple confirmations of hotel bookings are not sufficient to receive a visa. If you plan to book a Russian language course, please do not apply for the visa here, but use our language course application form.

The visa procedure is the following (process in chronological order):

  • You apply for the visa invitation with this form (click below after reading all instructions)
  • Within 1 hour, you receive an email confirmation message with your visa details and further instructions
  • You reply to the email message and confirm hereby your email address and your visa details
  • You arrange for payment (through paypal with credit cards or through bank transfer, see our details on payment options)
  • After 1-21 working days depending on the delivery option and type of visa chosen, we provide you with the invitation materials and instructions how to obtain the Russian visa at your nearest Russian Consulate
  • You obtain the visa (stamped into your passport) at the consulate by mail or in person. There are additional fees at the Consulate not covered by our service, contact your nearest Russian consulate for more info.
  • You register your visa within 72 hours of arrival in Russia at a hotel. We can also register your visa in Moscow/St.Petersburg if you choose to do so. Note that the registration fee is not included and has to be paid in Russia.

I understand that I need to register my visa within the first 72 h after arrival in Russia. Registration is possible at any hotel. If you do not stay in a hotel, you need to register the visa at our correspondance office in St.Petersburg or Moscow. Some hotel offer the registration for free, if not, registration fee is not included in our price, it must be paid directly cash in Russia. Not registering a visa may result in a fine (at least 50 USD) when leaving the country for which we take no responsibility.
I understand that the sending per Express mail is not included and will be added after reqeuest, price depend on country to be send to (normaly 75 USD by UPS).

*Please note that there are restrictions for citizens from certain African countries. Multi-year visa invitations are only available for citizens of EU except for the UK, Ireland and Denmark.

If you are applying for a visa valid for longer than 1 month, we are providing you with the invitation materials to apply for a business visa. In this case, we also need to know about your work/employment. If you are a student, please write the address of your current department/school. If you are not employed write again your home address. Also we need a copy of your passport. Please send a scanned copy (.jpg or .gif file, 200dpi resolution, file size smaller than 1 MB) of the page with your photo to our email address.

If you choose to transfer funds to our bank account by wire transfer, please send a copy of your payment order. We need this confirmation since it may take up to 10 days until funds become available when transfered electronically to our bank account. Please note that we do not accept cash payments
